Back in the Saddle

Back in the groove after a pretty sucky week or so. Been feeling much better. I think its the first time since my tumor that I've gotten kinda out of it. Gonna try to hook up a MRI in the next few weeks to make sure there's nothing evil lurking up there in my head (w/ the exception of my brain, of course). Wow, I haven't done kendo in a week - looking forward to Tuesday practice. I hope its not too bad.

Gotta get back into the heavy work flow tomorrow - uuuggghh. Projects are actually going good, so I shouldn't complain.

Here's a list I thought maybe we can mess around with. What are your answers?

1. Latest book(s) read or currently reading.
- Warfare In the Classical World - From the Greeks to the Roman era
- Philippine Campaigns - About military campaings in the Philippines; Pre-Colonization to WWII (Got this at the Punahou carnival for $.25
- Iconography2 - Graphic design stuff

2. Stuff you want to read eventually:
- Unfinished Tales by Tolkein - Seemingly interesting additions to the Simarillion
- Russian Criminal Tattoo Encyclopaedia - Trippy Russian tats and symbol art. Cool book. Haven't read it comprehensively. Pages are deceptively thin - more than you think is there. Been thinking about Tats again. Can't decide what I want. Alibata? Tribal?

What's on your bookshelf?

Nothing evil up there besides your brain? Hahaha.

I haven't been reading much lately. Basically still working on those two CSS books we picked up in B&N. I do have a Toni Morrison novel (Sula) that I keep meaning to read and I'd like to reread The Letters of Abelard and Heloise. Although on second thought maybe I shouldn't.

Are you really thinking about getting a tat? You so crazy. I'll go with you and watch. But I can think of better ways to spend 50-plus dollars (like on shinai).
